Zach Manns named WLA Player of the Week

Zach Manns is the WLA Player of the Week for Week 3.  The Timbermen lefty had seven points against the Lakers on Friday night and another six versus Coquitlam on Saturday.

After six games Manns leads the WLA in scoring with 29 points and also has the most goals in the league with 15.

Manns had 44 points in 12 games in his first season in Nanaimo in 2022 and has steadily become more of a focal point in the Timbermen offence.

This past winter Manns had 36 points in 16 games with the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League and ranked second in Rock playoff points with nine in three games.

Manns and the Timbermen visit New Westminster on June 15 and host the Victoria Shamrocks on June 17.
