Tmen win in Langley, lose at home to New West

The Timbermen are 2-3 after splitting their week of games against Langley  and New West.

On Wednesday Jordan Cunningham led the offense with a goal and five  assists, while Colton Clark had three goals and an assist.

Mike DeGirolamo got the win in net with 42 saves.

Saturday night the Bellies beat the Tmen 9-4 on the strength of some strong  goaltending from Alexis Buque.

Nanaimo did outshoot New West 43-40 and Colton Clark paced the Timbermen  offense with a pair of goals.

This weekend the Tmen host the 2016 champion Maple Ridge Burrards on Friday  and their island rivals from Victoria on Sunday.
