Tmen win 8-7 in OT in Game 3

by Dan Marshall

It was a true team effort and it took 70 minutes for the Nanaimo Timbermen to win 8-7 in Langley on Tuesday.

The Tmen never led until overtime when Ethan Ticehurst put Nanaimo up 7-6.

After a Curtis Dickson goal to equalize, Colton Lidstone notched the game winner late in the extra session.

Ryan Sheridan was the first star of the game with a three goal and one assist performance.

Devlin Shanahan was third star after putting up 47 stops.

He was best with the game on the line allowing only one goal in the final 32 minutes of Game 3.

The victory cuts the Thunder lead to 2-1 in the best of five series with a massive Game 4 at Frank Crane Arena on Thursday August 10 at 7pm.
