The Timbermen were sharp at both ends of the floor with back to back wins over Burnaby and New Westminster.
Nanaimo took out the Lakers 13-7 on Saturday and downed the Salmonbellies 12-2 on Sunday.
Junior A call up Justin Geddie won both starts for the WLA team and looked very comfortable playing goal at the Senior A level.
He allowed nine goals on 80 shots he faced over the weekend.
Jon Phillips led the offence in both games.
He had six points in the Burnaby win and five points in the matchup versus the Bellies.
The Tmen have improved their record to 4-4 heading into an all Island game against the Victoria Shamrocks on Friday June 24 on the road.
