Tmen split with Victoria and Langley

The Tmen went 1-1 last week, dropping a 12-9 game to the Shamrocks before winning 15-10 in Langley on Saturday night.

In the Victoria Colton Clark and Jon Phillips led the way with five points each.

Captain Brody Eastwood chipped in with a three point effort and so did newcomer Sean Tyrell.

Charles Claxton made 45 saves on the night.

On the road in Langley the Timbermen were short manned but came up huge.

Colton Clark left with three goals and three assists, both David Byrne and Sean Tyrell had their first goals with the team and three assists, and Nick Finlay added a hat trick as well.

Mike DeGirolamo got the win in his first game in net this season with 52 stops.

Nanaimo is now 3-1 this season with a short break before two games next week, in New West on June 20 and home to Maple Ridge on June 22.
