Tmen prepare for must win Game 5

by Dan Marshall

The Timbermen will have to dig deep to get back into their series with the Victoria Shamrocks.

Victoria grabbed a 3-1 lead with a 12-7 win in Game 4 on Tuesday night.

Colton Clark led the way with two goals while Even Messenger and Brody Eastwood had a goal and an assist each.

Both Charles Claxton and Mike De Girolamo split time in net.

After a very exciting win in Game 1 the Tmen haven't played at their peak since then.

If they can do that at the Q Centre on Friday Nanaimo has an excellent chance to get back in the series and force a Game 6 at Frank Crane Arena on Sunday.

A fast start will be important as Victoria has managed to build up early leads in the three games they've won in the series.

The winner of this best of seven series will play the Maple Ridge Burrards in the WLA Finals.

The Burrards swept the Salmonbellies in the other league semifinal.
