Tmen add Skye and Walsh
The Nanaimo Timbermen have completed a large deal with the Langley Thunder.
Goaltender Aden Walsh and defender Aaron Skye have been added to the team as well as first round draft picks in 2026 and 2027.
In exchange the Tmen give up the rights to Chase Fraser and Tyson Johnson.
Aden currently plays for the Calgary Roughnecks in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).
Walsh, was drafted by the Georgia Swarm in the second round of the 2021 NLL Entry Draft.
He spent the majority of his career with the Vancouver Warriors before being traded to Calgary.
Aaron was picked up by the San Diego Seals in the 2021 NLL draft.
He later signed a one-year agreement with the Halifax Thunderbirds as a free agent in September of 2022.
He has played his WLA career with the Langley Thunder where he has been a shut down defender.
Chase Fraser is an elite scorer who appeared in 34 games for the Timbermen but has played in the WLA since 2019.
Tyson Johnson played in 17 games in 2025 and added two assists.
With the recent additions for Jack Royer and Austin Ducommon and the potential return of Will Johansen and Adam Wiedemann Nanaimo will have a much different look on the floor for the 2026 season.
