Tmen add faceoff ace Tyler Kloeckl

NANAIMO — The Nanaimo Timbermen are thrilled to announce the signing of Tyler Kloeckl, a top faceoff specialist from the University of Utah. 

 Kloeckl arrives in Nanaimo with a proven track record of dominance at the Division 1 collegiate level and significant accolades heading into the 2026 season.

 “We are extremely excited to welcome Tyler to the Timbermen,” said Head Coach Jon Nicholson. “His résumé speaks for itself—elite faceoff ability, national-level efficiency, and the kind of compete level that immediately elevates a lineup. Bringing in a player honored as the 2026 Preseason Specialist of the Year is a massive boost to our possession game and our overall competitive identity.”

Kloeckl shared his enthusiasm for joining Nanaimo: “I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to get to work. The Timbermen have an incredible culture, and I’m ready to bring everything I have to help this team win.”
