TIMBERMEN TRADE VETERAN LANGLOIS

by Brian Stanton

At the WLA trade deadline the Nanaimo Timbermen traded veteran Doug Langlois to the Victoria Shamrocks for a 5th round draft pick in 2017.
Langlois had been with the Tmen since the 2011 season and recorded 74 points in 81 games.

The 26 year old is a very versatile player who saw time on both defense and offense in his career in Nanaimo.

The Timbermen would like to thank Doug Langlois for his years of service and wish him well with his new team.

This week Nanaimo has crucial games in the lead up to the playoffs against the Burnaby Lakers. Tuesday the Timbermen are in Burnaby and Sunday the Lakers visit Frank Crane Arena at 7pm.
