by Dan Marshall

As the Timbermen take on the Adanacs in Game 2 of the WLA semi final the organization will pay tribute to a legend of the franchise.

Kaleb Toth was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in July with an official ceremony to come in November.

He'll be at the Game on Aug. 8 for a short tribute before the game and a ceremonial faceoff.

The former player and coach with the Tmen has had a tremendous career and has been a huge influence on Nanaimo lacrosse for nearly 20 years.

Kaleb played seven seasons with Nanaimo. During his 11 seasons of WLA lacrosse, he played 162 games, scoring 281 goals, along with 365 assists for a total of 544 points.

During a six year stint as Timbermen head coach Toth led Nanaimo to playoff appearances in 2018 and 2019 and won the Nanaimo Sport Achievement Award for High Performance Coach of the year in 2019.

He also played thirteen seasons in the NLL with Toronto and Calgary Roughnecks winning the NLL Champions Cup in 2000, 2004 and 2009.
