Timbermen looking for winning weekend

The Nanaimo Timbermen are looking for the their first win of the WLA season, and looking to get their final roster together.

The Tmen are 0-5 out of the gate while needing to use several callup players from Junior A or Senior B.

More of the team's core is arriving week to week as the club has a massive weekend of games June 14 and 15.

On the 14th Nanaimo hosts Langley at 5 p.m. and then the team travels to Victoria to face the Shamrocks on Sunday the 15th.

Veteran Colton Lidstone has led Nanaimo with 18 points while Ryan Sheridan has returned after a one year absence to put up 11 and Tom Vaesen has 11 as well after rejoining the Timbermen from the Victoria Shamrocks.

Recent trades have landed the Tmen Chase Miller and Tysen Nielsen from New Westminster, as well as Tristan Kirkham and Cal Slade from Langley.
