Timbermen look to secure WLA playoff spot

The Timbermen are in the stretch drive of the WLA season.

With four games to play the Tmen occupy the final playoff spot in the WLA.

Nanaimo will play Burnaby, New West , Victoria and Coquitlam to wrap up the regular season.

After an 8-3 loss to Victoria on July 12 Nanaimo has a 6-8 record and they sit two points ahead of the Salmonbellies and four points up on Burnaby.

The Timbermen are four points behind the third place Adanacs.

Nanaimo's offense continues to be led by Noah Manning with 50 points.

First year players Andrew Bowman, Matt Boas, Jeremy Wudrick and Logan Schmidt are four of the top six scorers on Nanaimo's roster.
