The Nanaimo Timbermen were busy with eight draft selections and a couple of trades at the WLA Draft.

The Tmen jumped into the top two rounds of the draft by making a pair of trades.

Nanaimo received former Junior A Timbermen Adam Fulton, first and second round picks in 2022, and first and second round picks in 2024 from New Westminster in exchange for Jordan Gillis and Liam MacDonald.

The Timbermen also traded compensatory round pick Mark Yingling to Burnaby for Callum Crawford, a first round pick in 2022 and a second round pick in 2022.

In the first round Nanaimo selected Junior A standouts Ari Stevens and Skylar Wilson.

With the club's two second round picks Tmen Junior Mason McAdams was added as well as Jaxon Hendrickson from the Langley Junior Thunder.

The other Timbermen picks were Andrew Joseph of the Langley B1 Thunder, Arjan Singh from the Delta Islanders and Griffin Wilson and Hank Wulder of the Junior Timbermen.
