Timbermen add Brett McIntyre

by Dan Marshall

The Nanaimo Timbermen have acquired Brett McIntyre from the Coquitlam Adanacs to complete an earlier transaction that saw the rights of Isaac Bot go to the A's.

McIntyre is a 5’9, 170 pound righty forward from Alberta.

Brett plays for the Colorado Mammoth in the NLL where he had 21 points in 11 games in 2023.

This season with the Adanacs, McIntyre collected eight goals and 16 assists in seven games.

Timbermen President Chris Bowman said McIntyre will add even more offense to Nanaimo's right side attack.

“Brett is a player we've been interested in for a long time. He's a proven point producer who we believe will fit in well with our core group.”

McIntyre is expected to make his season debut against his former team when the Tmen host Coquitlam on July 8.
