Timbermen Acquires Goaltender Charles Claxton

by Chris Bowman

The Nanaimo Timbermen are thrilled to announce that we have acquired goaltender Charles Claxton from the Langley Thunder.

Charles is 6’3” and 195 lbs, and a graduate of the Victoria Shamrocks Jr A program. Charles was drafted 11th overall by the Maple Ridge Burrards in the 2015 WLA draft.

In his draft year, Charles was a 1st Team All-star, and won the Monty Leahy Memorial Trophy as the BCJALL’s top goaltender.

We are very excited to add a another local Vancouver Island player of Charles' caliber to our roster. We are looking forward to having Charles in camp to compete, and to show his All-Star form in early April!
