The Nanaimo Timbermen finished in sixth place in the WLA in 2024.

For the first time since 2017 the Tmen will not be in the playoffs.

Nanaimo finished with a 6-11-1 record, despite going 2-1 in the final week of the season.

The Timbermen had home wins over the Burrards (12-5) and Lakers (13-9) before falling in the regular season finale in Maple Ridge.

Zach Manns led Nanaimo in scoring with 75 points and Taggart Clark ended with a league high 15 power play goals.

In 2024 Nanaimo went 2-1 against New West and Maple Ridge, 1-1-1 versus Burnaby, 1-2 against Langley and 0-3 in their games with both Victoria and Coquitlam.

Breaking down the season into thirds the Tmen started 1-5, had a decent stretch in the middle going 3-2-1 and then went and finished season 2-4.

Several key players had to sit out the year due to injury in Will Johansen and Ryan Sheridan and Nanaimo also lost Jacob Power to injury mid season.

The Timbermen will look for a major turnaround and return to the playoffs in 2025 with the Mann Cup returning to the West.
