Playoff implications with three games remaining

by Dan Marshall

The Senior A Timbermen have games remaining against Langley on July 23, Burnaby on July 25 and New Westminster on July 29.

One more win will assure the Tmen of no lower than third place in the WLA standings.

Nanaimo currently holds a three point lead on the Victoria Shamrocks with one game in hand.

Conversely the Timbermen must secure all three wins to have a chance at finishing with the same record as the Thunder or Salmonbellies.

Langley and New West have 26 points apiece, the Timbermen have 20 and the Shamrocks sit with 17.

Those four teams will be the four playoff clubs in 2023, with the seeding for the first round still to be finalized.
