Manns and Wiedemann named WLA First Team All-Stars

League leading scorer Zach Manns and stalwart defender Adam Wiedemann have both been named WLA First Team All-Stars in 2023.

Manns led all scorers with 89 points while Wiedemann anchored Nanaimo's transition game with 24 points from the back end.

The First Team also includes Langley Thunder goaltender, Frank Scigliano, who finished the regular season with 497 saves and an .858 save percentage.

On defense Drew Belgrave of the New Westminster Salmonbellies brought an abundance of poise, experience, and athleticism to the Salmonbellies defense, tallying eight points in 16 games.

On offense Curtis Dickson of the Langley Thunder and Haiden Dickson from the New Westminster Salmonbellies round out the First Team. 

Curtis Dickson finished with 66 points in 12 games, while the Salmonbellies Haiden Dickson finished the season leading the league in goals with 53.
