June 30 game to air on Shaw Spotlight TV

A week of Timbermen versus Shamrock lacrosse is coming to Nanaimo and fans will have a number of options to watch the games.

On Tuesday, June 28 the Junior A Tmen will host the Junior A Shamrocks at 7 p.m. and on Thursday June 30 the WLA Timbermen will take on the Senior A Shamrocks at 7:30 p.m. at Frank Crane Arena.

Lacrosse fans can see the games in person, watch the games online through playfullscreen.com or watch on Shaw Spotlight across much of Vancouver Island.

Shaw Spotlight has agreed to show the games live on their TV channel through many of the their Vancouver Island systems including in Nanaimo and Victoria. 

Timbermen President Chris Bowman said it's an opportunity to share the game with as many people as possible.

"We want to provide fans as many ways as possible to watch our great game.   Having television coverage for these two Island rivalry games will help bring more exposure to box lacrosse on Vancouver Island."

Television viewers on the Island should check their channel guide for the Shaw Spotlight channel in their region.
