Jon Phillips named WLA first team All-Star

Nanaimo's leading scorer has been named a WLA All-Star.

Jon Phillips set career highs with 27 goals, 42 assists, and 69 points in 2019.

In his first three seasons in the WLA Phillips has upped his point totals significantly every year.

2019 was the second straight campaign the 24 year old led the Tmen in scoring.

The left hander finished fourth in league scoring this season behind Mitch Jones, Robert Church and Keegan Bal.

Phillips was drafted 9th overall by the Timbermen in the 2017 draft and has been a mainstay for the club ever since.
