Island rivalry game ends with 12-7 loss to the Shamrocks

BC's new premier was in the crowd for Nanaimo's only game of the weekend in Victoria.

John Horgan was seen wearing a Shamrocks jersey and a Timbermen hat for the island rivalry game.

Victoria took the game by a score of 12-7.

Nanaimo had three goals and an assist from Jake Cullen and and Chase Fraser grabbed two goals and one assist.

This week the Tmen are on the road with games in Coquitlam on Saturday and Maple Ridge on Sunday.
