Gord Phillips Drafted by Warriors

Versatile right hander Gord Phillips was selected in the 6th round of the NLL entry draft on Tuesday by the Vancouver Warriors.

In his two years with the Tmen Phillips has scored 27 points in 30 games.

Kaleb Toth has used the 22-year-old in a number of different roles including defence, offence, and faceoffs.

Phillips was picked 11th overall by the Timbermen in 2018, in the same draft that saw Drew Belgrave, and Baden Boyenko join the club.

Last season Brody Eastwood and Nate Wade saw time with the Vancouver Warriors so Phillips will see some familiar faces as he looks to start his NLL career this winter.
